Can I start numbering at something other than 1?+

Yes. Set the "Starting number" to the value you want. For example, set it to 3 if your first two pages are a cover and a table of contents that should not be numbered as 1 and 2.

Is my PDF uploaded to your servers?+

No, never. Pagination runs entirely in your browser via pdf-lib. Your file never leaves your machine — unlike Smallpdf, iLovePDF or Sejda, which upload your documents to their foreign servers.

Which numbering formats are available?+

Three formats: "1" (number only, low-key), "1 / N" (compact with total), and "Page 1 of N" (long report-style format). Pick the one that fits the document's tone.

Can I choose where the number appears on the page?+

Yes. Six positions are available: top/bottom combined with left/centre/right. The number is placed at a comfortable margin from the chosen corner, in Helvetica 10 pt.
