For a contract, a payslip, a medical file or any confidential document, it isn't — your data crosses the Atlantic and ends up on servers outside the scope of GDPR.
ModySign solves this by doing all the work in your browser. The pdf-lib library loads your files into memory, recombines them, and returns the result locally. No server-side code is called during the merge — we don't even know you used the tool.

How many PDF files can I merge?+
There's no limit on the ModySign side. The only limit comes from your browser's RAM. In practice, dozens of multi-megabyte PDFs merge without issue.
Are my files sent to a server?+
No. Everything happens in your browser thanks to pdf-lib. No file leaves your machine, which removes any leak risk.
Can I reorder pages before merging?+
Yes — use the arrows in the list to reorder the files. Each file is inserted in the chosen order, with all its pages.
Does the final file keep the original quality?+
Yes. The merge is lossless: pages are copied as-is, including fonts, images and annotations.
Can I merge password-protected PDFs?+
Not directly. Decrypt them first (with ModySign you can use the "Secure a PDF" tool in decryption mode), then merge the unlocked PDFs.
